RECREATIONAL MT. TABOR PARK - PAULDING COUNTY, GA Mt. Tabor Park was a very successful $6.7 million Design-Build multi-facility project completed for the Paulding County Parks & Recreation Department. Working with the department’s staff, we were able to create a popular focal point within the county constructed on a 100-acre site and included a new 16,000 sf recreation and community center with a full size gymnasium and racquetball courts. A five (5) field baseball complex was included with complete irrigation and sports lighting systems and concession buildings as well as, construction of lighted tennis courts. A pre-engineered maintenance facility was also included within our scope of design and construction. Our scope also included construction of 3 baseball fields and 2 soccer fields with complete irrigation and sports lighting systems. At the time, this was the largest single construction project undertaken by Paulding County. We are proud of the fact that our management team with its personal attention to the needs and concerns of our client, were able to ease their concerns and the project was completed on schedule and within their original budget. The successful completion and promotion of this project to its citizens provided a means for the county to feature and highlight the advances of their parks and recreation program. The success of this project enabled the county to expand their future program significantly by passage of a $25 million park expansion plan. We are proud to have been a part their success.
